So Apropos
Saw death on a sunny snowFor every life, forego the parable. Seek the light, my knees are cold. (Running home, running home) Go find another lover; To bring and- to string along. With all your lies, you're still very lovable. I toured the light, so many foreign roads For Emma, forever ago. |

could a thousand words paint a picture?
My mood now? A swirl of meaningful song lyrics you can't stop listening to, A.A Milne coloured pictures of childhood memories, the dim setting sun ending another day, salty taste in mouth, the flickering crackling of old movies, flashes of a quickly-ending smile, white ceilings, old jazz crooners voices melding with the cawing of crows, the worn dust-covered bible in the back of the dark drawer hidden by scraps of paper, cold floors from the night wind - yet a cat purrs as it watches itself in the mirror, uncertain, curious, then agitated, tail flicking and disrupts the streams of dust in the air before settling itself on an old suitcase, eyes wide open, muscles tense; just watching. If you know what I mean. |
