So Apropos
Saw death on a sunny snowFor every life, forego the parable. Seek the light, my knees are cold. (Running home, running home) Go find another lover; To bring and- to string along. With all your lies, you're still very lovable. I toured the light, so many foreign roads For Emma, forever ago. |

human ecology
The basis behind TED is that it triggers our minds and shares ideas. The beautiful thing about it is the way it doesn't give answers, as we don't have the ability to answer all questions, but that it triggers urgency. Urgency in itself is an immediate urge to act. But if we do not act, the ideas of humans do not manifest into anything, just words in a conference room. Then what are people worth? Therefore, we need to find an action that fulfills the urge to act. As an arts student, the education system is definitely something that is of physical interest to me. But while the world is acting to fulfill these calls of change, we must act as well. How can we take the first step to change the way we live and learn? How can we utilize our creativity as the youth of the world to make a difference for generations to come? No one owes us the favour to usher us into the next century, it is now our responsibility to create the next revolution for generations after us to succeed and receive. I believe that the first step is to change the way we think, we act, and percieve. Learn with an aim other than to get a job. Study with a goal other than survival of the fittest. We learn to learn, and we have to embrace our inner selves, rather than crippling ourselves with availability in the education system. Make the change in our lives. If we demand a career that does not support the industrial revolution, it will be created. If we don't demand the change, the supply of what we are taught will not be affected. If we want something enough, we will create it. We have more power than we believe we do. We just have to believe we do to set things in motion. I love TED(: |
