he's the one who write all the pretty songs
Its been a long week, with rather long days. I may be putting up a photo blogpost later on, when I upload my photos from last night, but till then, words shall suffice. My sister's just caught a cab (I reckon) downstairs and is on her way to the airport to catch her flight, and I'm getting a little odd feeling inside.

Surprising thing about this week? Despite intensity, I haven't cried. Not a single drop of salty water (lol). I am rather proud of myself. Perhaps I'm finally getting somewhere.

Haha its been a jampacked few days, filled with family bonding, a BBQ party that popped out of nowhere, a VERY formal dinner setting last night, lots of food and shopping. I've been eating TONS since a trip back to food paradise from Australia always requires a full course meal everynight. I'll need to start running soon. ROCK BAND is amazing, though I hardly get to do anything else but sing.

PW has been able to slot itself into the spaces, and chinese not so (despite my exam being tomorrow). I have a presentation today and I'm wrecking myself to try to remember my speech points, but heck. I'll wriggle there somehow, and cram chinese tonight. Cwap.

Now, LAST NIGHT.

Yesterday was my uncles 70th birthday, and to greet the occasion a ballroom in shangri-la was filled with about 200 people, half family, half co-workers or people working with the family company. My uncle being the FOUNDER as well as the HEAD of the company, many people were more than grateful to express his gratitude on stage. Someone even wrote a POEM for him. I met my cousin and some little 'uns. Now at least some remember their dear babysitter. Brandon and Bryan especially, the two rascals. Bryan's alot hoppier than usual, and was very keen to impart upon me BRAIN POWER to play his BrainAge game. Alot of laughter, fun and food. Sometimes family can be rather interesting. The beginning of the day was a little stressful though, rushing to get ready (I had to alter my dress and fix my hair) and the cocktail session meeting all the relatives, especially when your uncles and aunties try to speak in dialect with you, and all you can do is call them and nod and smile.

Took MANY photos, but due to my bad photographic skills, most of them are blur =.=" But heck, I'll see them again tomorrow for my cousin's wedding dinner =.=

Ok, I'm off to OP. Wish me luck!
